Keep It Consistent

consistent branding

consistent branding

Like many things in business, we need consistency. Whether it be our brand message, sales process, communication strategy or even the way we treat ALL our customers, consistency is our friend.

Quick and to the point

The purpose of this post is nothing more than me making a commitment to you. I have been extremely fortunate to have met and exchanged thoughts, posts and stories with some of the greatest people online.

Through this journey I have had some of these people tell me they really enjoy my blog…BUT…they wish I was more consistent with when I posted (it’s been a little crazy lately).

My new schedule

For now, I am committing to:

  • Monday’s (normal blog)
  • Wednesday (The Entrepreneur’s Journey)
  • Friday (normal blog)

Of course, if I’m on holidays, don’t hold your breath lol.

Thats it, I wanted to put it out there to you, and I wanted it in writing.

Your Friend,

Troy Claus

TroyClaus Mark_Harai I was just about to suggest some sort of Kangaroo Court system of RTs and blog comments and cash payments, but that works too.

When I clicked the CommentLuv link, I was sorta expecting a marketing, branding, messaging kind of post. This works too. Today nittygriddyblog asked for blog schedules, and I get the idea. My commitment is to my readers yes, but also to myself. Committing to a routine publishing schedule has helped me step up my blogging, keep it going. FWIW.

Like the schedule Troy, and looking forward to it man....and really love the E-series you do. Very powerful, very real. Good luck brother!

Marcus_Sheridan -Cheers Marcus! Actually, you were part of the reason I decided to pick a schedule. Although I knew I wanted one, it didn't actually become a priority until I read something ginidietrich wrote in her #FF (it was a kick in the butt)

" He’s living proof of my philosophy that it doesn’t matter how often you blog, as long as it’s consistent and people know when to expect it."

Thats why this group of people are amazing, we look out for each other, motivate each other and are always there with a helping hand if needed.

Cheers Marcus,

Troy

Love this, Troy. I've been wrestling lately with a schedule and I've narrowed it down to a similar mix (with Thursdays thrown in for FBBB) but I haven't picked topics for those days. Maybe I should follow your example and start to get serious about this. : )

Awesome post!

Oh and do bloggers get to go on holiday? I mean - business owners do but bloggers? Nahhh - unless you're me of course lol ;) Kidding.

Great of you to let us know and way to commit!

Cheers

Griddy Cheers Ingrid. I find that because I am so busy working in/on the business, I always have a reason not to blog.

haha, no, bloggers don't get to take holidays.

Yaay! I always smile when I see "Troy Claus" bolded in my reader. Now I'll be smiling three times a week! Good for you putting it out there - that's raising your bar! (good luck with that ~ whew~ make me nervous just to think of it Haha!) But you can do it. The first step, I believe, is determining that you will!

Lori Aww, thanks Lori. You're absolutely right, determination and commitment are the key.

P.S- I went to Mrs. B's yesterday to buy some stuff to send you and Angelo would not let me pay, so the treats you get are from him.

Cheers,

Troy

Thank you Troy for committing to educating us and sharing your great insights. What you mean you're on holidays?

TroyClaus 141 pts

John Falchetto -Cheers John. Haha, if I'm on holidays, I'm not on them yet. And don't give me that "schedule them ahead of time" story, still not going to happen lol. I will be away the first week of May :)

Cheers again John,

Troy

TroyClaus That's sweet of Angelo! I was going to include something in the package for him. Should I send it directly or do you go live near his place?

Getting that package ready this afternoon!
